Kimberly L. Murray, CEcD, AICP
Kimberly Murray most recently served as the Economic Redevelopment Director for the City of Winchester and the Executive Director for the Economic Development Authority of the City of Winchester overseeing the City’s economic development programs and redevelopment initiatives. Prior to her work in Winchester she served as Economic Development and Planning Manager for the Town of Strasburg. Before coming to Virginia in 2013, Murray served several years in municipal and state government in Vermont before relocating to Virginia with her family. She has twenty years of public service experience in the fields of economic development, planning, transportation, tourism, and downtown revitalization. She is a Certified Economic Developer through the International Economic Development Council and Certified Planner through the American Institute of Certified Planners, and holds a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Florida.
Born in Johnstown, PA moved to Northern Virginia in 1980. Denise was raised in Falls Church, Virginia were she graduated from Falls Church High School. She went on to receive her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech Communication from George Mason University. Denise has served as an Assistant Project Manager, Substitute Teacher for Prince William County Schools and is an active member of both Ronald Reagan Middle PTSO and Battlefield High School Athletic Booster Club. With her she brings over 25 years of Customer Service to the Town. Denise resides in Haymarket with her two children, daughter, Ciera Marie and son, Sean Michael.
Roberto Gonzalez joined our team in January from the wider Haymarket community, and has over a decade of accounting experience in the private sector, including project management and controller duties for a number of construction-related companies. Roberto is interested in broadening his knowledge in municipal finances, and in assisting the Town of Haymarket as it continues to build upon its rich history. He enjoys putting his experience and enthusiasm to good use in service of the Town, and looks forward to seeing what new developments the future will bring.

Alice joined our team in April and brings to the Town of Haymarket over twenty years of executive administrative experience and office management working for land development and civil engineering companies, including Bowman Consulting Group, Ltd. and Cavalier Land Development Corporation. Her extensive customer service background and friendly and helpful nature will be an asset to the Town, and she looks forward to bringing her innovative ideas to our work and in support of the Council.
