Mary Ramirez

Councilwoman Mary Ramirez has been a Town resident since 2013. She and her husband are proud to raise their daughter in our beautiful small town. Their family is complete with a pug and two cats.

Mary is serving her second term as Councilmember after an initial appointment by Council in July 2021, which was reaffirmed by a special election in November 2021. She was appointed as the Community Outreach Liaison, where she has championed community programming like our Youth in Government Program.

Mary earned a Bachelor's of Science degree from George Mason University in Criminology, Law and Society. She currently works to support elementary aged students with literacy in a local public school, and volunteers as a Troop Leader in Girl Scouts.

Her passions include: her family, connecting with her community, working with youth, supporting small businesses and nonprofits, reading, and gardening.

The reason Mary chose to serve was to support the town she loves with integrity, transparency, and compassion.
